We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a worldwide operating automotive supplier and the world's largest producer of wiring harnesses, an :

Account Payable Senior Specialist

Reporting to the Accounting Manager your main responsibilities will be : 

• Ensure the appropriate accounting and the completion of financial statements in accordance with internal and external guidelines, laws and regulations;
• Analyze and evaluate the relevant guidelines, laws and regulations aligning this with the internal systems, procedures and policies;
• Manage resources in an efficient way;
• Ensure that AP daily tasks are performed in accordance with targes and group accounting policies;
• Support & Coach AP team for daily tasks;
• Evaluation and PDP for the team;
• Perform the daily necessary checks and analysis for AP;
• Perform the monthly analysis for GRNI accounts and Suppliers statments;
• Provide management information regarding creditors and AP KPIs;
• Provide or deal with any customer or stakeholder queries in a timely basis;
• AP processing backlog Monitoring;
• Ensure escalation process for issues that can not be solved locally;
• Give training and follow the integration of new employees and Job rotations;
• Ensure continuous improvements and request any required process improvements to stakeholders, Group accounting and central IT to adopt a flexible and simplified approach in order to meet customer needs.

Profil recherché

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• University degree within Financial and Accounting studies;
• 4-6 years of experience working in a similar role;
• Team lead experience and good managerial skills;
• Experience in accounting payable;
• Great communication skills in English (written and spoken);
• Prior experience of working with SAP and Excel;
• High attention to details, organized, planning and process oriented.
